Sooooo good, Applesauce Bread


½ cup softened butter
1 large egg
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cups applesauce
1 ½ cups Premium Gold® Gluten Free Flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
¾ teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a large bowl blend together butter, egg, applesauce, sugar and vanilla.Gradually add the PG GF Flour, baking soda, spices and salt, then mix until batter begins to resemble a crumbly dough.

Prepare two small loaf pans with cooking spray or parchment paper, then pour batter evenly into the pans.

Bake for 40 minutes or until center springs back when pressed or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes, then turn out on rack to finish cooling.

3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons milk
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Let boil 1 minute. Cools slightly, add powdered sugar to thicken slightly. Drizzle over bread.
