Debbie Kay’s Danish Scoop & Dump Apple Pie Crust Dessert


4 cups fresh picked, peeled, cored and sliced apples
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup Premium Gold® Gluten Free Flour
1/2 cup nuts or seeds of your choice (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Fill 9″ pie plate with 4 cups of prepared apple slices.Mix sugar, cinnamon and allspice together and sprinkle over apples.
Melt butter and blend together sugar, egg, flour and nuts. Mix well.

Spoon or hand scoop the mixture over apples, around outside and fill the center. Pat down gently and bake for 50-55 minutes.

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. A very special dessert – delicious!
