Not-So-Old-Fashioned Oven Fried Chicken
1 cup Premium Gold® Gluten Free Flour
¼ tsp. pepper
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
½ cup butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.Wipe the chicken pieces with paper towels.Shallow dish method: Put your flour and spices in a shallow dish or baking pan. Coat the chicken pieces by rolling them in the flour mixture.
Put butter in a 13x9x2 inch ovenproof pan and place in the oven to melt.
Add the chicken pieces and turn each to coat with the melted butter. Arrange chicken in one layer, skin side down. Do not let the pieces touch.
Bake for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender and cooked all the way through.
– Use only ¾ tsp. salt and add ¾ tsp. garlic salt.
– Mix 1 tsp. poultry seasoning or other spice into flour mixture.
